The Cave du Roi Dagobert's objective is to produce fruity, elegant and enjoyable Alsatian wines at reasonable prices and to never disappoint those who trust in us.
Such an objective requires more than just luck – it is essential to use techniques that respect the raw product. The cooperative strives to ensure that all of the necessary technical and human resources are available in order to continue to satisfy its customers.
On a human level, our expert team includes two experienced oenologists, one who is responsible mainly for the vines and the other for vinification, a technician who works year-round with the winemakers to ensure that the best vine-growing methods are in place, a quality assurance manager as well as many other loyal staff members who form an integral part of the organisation.
The cooperative's state of the art technical facilities include a fermenting room (which uses gravity to collect the fruit without pumping or crushing), decanting processes to clarify the juices and temperature controlled vats to ensure slow fermentations. These facilities are designed to preserve the natural aromas as much as possible during the vinification process.
